Based in the heart of the South West, rural development issues are near to our hearts. As well as our own impressive track record in the field, the team have long-established relationships with a number of specialist collaborators in areas of expertise including sustainability and food and drink.

Experience
SERIO has  worked on large-scale consumer research project on behalf of Defra, looking at perceptions of local and regional food, as well as a follow-up study examining the environmental impact of seasonal produce, in partnership with the agricultural consultancy ADAS.

Another long-term relationship has been established with Milk Link – the UK’s largest dairy cooperative – for whom SERIO has conducted an annual membership survey since 2006.

Rural Enterprise Solutions
As well as our bespoke  research projects SERIO manages Rural Enterprise Solutions, an ongoing service providing knowledge and information, as well as network opportunities, to rural and land-based businesses across the UK. The three-strong Rural Enterprise Solutions team also contribute their extensive knowledge of rural issues to SERIO’s research and intelligence portfolio.
