Ocean Studios



The redevelopment of the historical Royal William Yard has been at the heart of Plymouth's recent regeneration. However, one major building remains derelict which a group of local artists propose to transform into studio space.

SERIO were commissioned to produce a vision document compiling the available evidence of the need for studio space in the city, the potential socio-economic benefits of the project and its fit with local and national policy. The process involved a review of the relevant policy documents, consultation with key stakeholders and the production of a full-colour vision document to accompany the launch event in November 2010.
