SERIO to develop an Index of Culture for Plymouth

This project builds on SERIO's existing cultural impact studies and comes at an exciting time for the City, in the midst of bold developments to the 'cultural offer'.

The Index is composed of around 60 indicators which will be analysed on an annual basis to capture any changes. It aims to reflect culture in terms of the City's resources and the public's cultural values, as well as levels of engagement and participation in cultural activity. In creating the Index, SERIO will work in consultation with Plymouth Culture Board, who commissioned the research, as well as a range of organisations from across the city and UK. The first Index is anticipated to be completed by December 2012.

Social Enterprise in a global context: the role of Higher Education InstitutesThe British Council has commissioned SERIO, and colleagues in Futures Entrepreneurial Centre, at Plymouth University to undertake a global study to inform Social Enterprise policy.
