Michelle Tester-Jones

Michelle joined SERIO in January 2017 as a Research Assistant. Prior to this, she completed a postdoctoral position with the University of Exeter’s Mood Disorders Centre, which investigated the active ingredients in an online cognitive behavioural therapy for depression. Michelle has an extensive background in research design, methodology and advanced statistical analysis and has experience in conducting literature reviews, face to face and telephone interviews, observations and laboratory experiments with a particular focus on health, wellbeing and mood disorders. 
Michelle was awarded her PhD in 2014 from the University of Exeter, and an Mres in 2010 from the University of Bath. Her PhD examined cognitive mechanisms in Postnatal depression and their impact on maternal sensitivity and mother-infant bonding.
